This check queries close to 40 respected public blocklists for your IP (and domain blocklists for domains) — the same roster the big monitoring tools use. Spamhaus and a few others refuse anonymous queries from shared resolvers; when a Spamhaus Data Query Service key is configured we query their authoritative keyed zones directly, otherwise those are flagged honestly. Common problems and how to fix them

You are listed and mail is landing in spam
Find why you were listed (compromised account, bad list hygiene, shared IP), fix the cause, then request delisting through that list's process.
Listed on a shared IP you do not control
If you send through a provider, contact them. On shared infrastructure, one bad neighbor can list the whole IP.

What is an email blacklist?

A DNS blocklist of IPs or domains known for spam. Receiving servers check them and may reject or spam-folder listed senders.

How do I get off a blacklist?

Fix the underlying cause first, then use the delisting request form on the specific list. Delisting without fixing the cause usually re-lists you.

Does one blacklist hit block all my mail?

Not always. Impact depends on the list's reputation and which receivers use it. Major lists have broad effect.
